Meet Amy

Address Your Mess started with Amy informally assisting friends and family in getting their homes prepared for sale or sorting through their clutter.  Then, these friends told their friends and a business was born.  For several years, this was done on an informal basis in conjunction with her full-time profession as a marketing director at a local law firm and executive director of a local non-profit.   However, with increased interest and demand, she now devotes all of her time to helping clients "achieve peace and reduce stress through more organized living."

What sets Amy apart from other organizers?

Specialities Include:

  • Elder Support

  • Family Engagement

  • Recycle/Upcycle

  • Vulnerability of Clutter

She isn't all about bins or creating the perfect space a la Pinterest.  As a wife, professional, mother, elder caregiver, and lover of 'things", she understands the psychology of clutter (it's never really about the stuff).  She understands the importance of sustainability of the space (it's no good to anyone if it only lasts one day or until your kids get home or your elder parents won't speak to you because you sold their fine china).  Lastly, she understands the incredible vulnerability associated with allowing someone to enter your home.

It is her objective to approach each client (and their space) with respect, non-judgment, vision and JOY.

Testimonials

Amy was amazing. She went far above and beyond my expectations with time, advice, and a feeling of friendship. She helped me carve out a much-needed workspace for myself where I couldn't even imagine having space for one before. She also helped me get rid of junk, but in a way that other people were grateful to have it, and I even made money off of it!
